We’re stuck in Wyoming right now. At 5pm yesterday we were informed by radio and road sign that I-90 is basically closed from Sheridan, WY, through South Dakota. That put a major kink in our plan, which was to drive on that road through those places.
So we got a Motel 6 (the fanciest Motel 6 of the entire trip, what with its water pressure and no visible cigarette burns) and hunkered down for a while. We’ll be busting out of this no-horse town (the greatest insult you can levy against a town in Wyoming by the way) soon, and hopefully they will open up enough roads so we can drive for several hours towards Minneapolis, where we need to be by tomorrow night.
Wish us luck and speed (in safe amounts).
